The biotechnology ethanol

The biotechnology ethanol is the center of attention as a new fuel.

Certainly　the biotechnology ethanol is an environment friendly fuel. But I think that　biotechnology ethanol like today does not become a new fuel yet.

First, raw materials of the biotechnology ethanol are food such as soybeans and corn. Therefore, crops such as soybeans and corn that have been grown up to now as food come to be grown as a fuel. As a result, the price of food will rise. For that reason people’s living standards will become poor.

Second, forests are cut down to make the fields to make these.

Production of biotechnology ethanol is an act to decrease carbon dioxide exhausts. But when the number of forests decreases by the act, it is nonsense.

Some people say that oil dries up when they keep using oil. Surely, fossil fuel will dry up if they keep using the fossil fuel. However, making biotechnology ethanol should not do to the point where forests are cut down.

So I think that biotechnology ethanol like today does not become a new fuel yet. But it is not said that biotechnology ethanol is the bad fuel. It is necessary to improve the biotechnology ethanol more.
